Flavored Oatmeal Packs
Warm oatmeal is a great way to start the day. It’s quick, it’s easy and it tastes pretty good for the most part. However, most flavored instant oatmeal packs contain absurdly high levels of sugar so this is your go-to, try homemade blueberry overnight oats or pumpkin oatmeal instead!
They’re hard to pass up, we know. But deep-fried donuts smothered in colorful frosting isn’t on the list of healthiest breakfast options. You can, however, enjoy a much healthier breakfast snack by baking your own banana bread donuts or apple cider donuts.
There may not be a better breakfast combo than a piping hot cup of joe and a buttery, sugary scone – but again, you won’t find that duo on any “healthy” list. Instead, we recommend whipping up protein apple squares or healthy breakfast cookies if you just can’t seem to get rid of your sweet tooth in the morning.
