Chip’s Restaurant has been a landmark in Orange Connecticut for many years and has recently expanding to Fairfield CT. Famous for its perfect pancakes, it also has a creative lunch and dinner menu and guests are welcome to BYOB.

George Chatzopoulos (Georgie) immigrated to the United States from Greece in 1987 and worked in the restaurant business for many years. Since Georgie took over Chip’s in 2003, he has extended the menu to give customers healthier choices by adding fresh local produce and whole grain items in to the menu.

Being proud of his Greek heritage, he has also blended Greek and Mediterranean favorites in with traditional American family style. A big feature of the menu is that breakfast is served all day with all your favorite pancakes like cinnamon raisin, peanut butter and banana, black forest, Hawaiian, sweet potato, whole wheat.

Georgie has a simple philosophy of his business. “We are a family restaurant. Everything is homemade and that’s what makes the difference.”

He said many high school students have gained their first working experience at Chip’s. Georgie gives back to the community and the restaurant is home to many civic organization meetings including the Orange Rotary, Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce.

We are here because of the local people. I believe that providing good service, great food and a friendly atmosphere will keep our customers coming back.
