1. 20 Questions: Have someone in your party think of a person, place or thing, then go around the group and begin asking yes or no questions to try and figure out who or what they’re thinking of. If no one has figured it out by the time the 20th question rolls around, then the designated “thinker” wins! But if someone does, the person who was able to successfully determine the person, place or thing in question gets to think of something new next.
2. I Spy: Start by having one person look for anything in your surroundings – and we really mean anything – then have them provide your group with a clue (do so by using the phrase “I spy with my little eye something…..”). Once they give you a hint (a color, a shape, a size, etc), have everyone else start looking around to see if they can find what the spy has their eye on. Whoever guesses it correctly gets to go next.
3. Tic-Tac-Toe: Especially when you have children going out to eat with you, it’s always a good idea to bring a small notebook and a pen or pencil so that you can keep them occupied. A perfect game to play is tic-tac-toe! First decide who will be Xs and who will be Os, then draw out your game board and get to it!
