Menu Spotlight: Health and Fitness

Like we said in a previous blog, focusing more on health and/or fitness is one of the most popular New Year’s Resolutions out there. However, many people often assume that they must cut back on their favorite foods and limit the amount of times they go out to eat in order to achieve the lifestyle they’re working towards. But actually, that doesn’t always have to be the case!

Here at Chip’s Family Restaurant, one portion of our menu is 100 percent dedicated to health and fitness. Comprised of heart healthy meals, this menu is designed so that even the most health conscious eaters can enjoy a morning, midday, or night time meal out on the town rather than at home. If you’re not familiar with it, we’ve pulled a few menu items off the list for you to view below:

 

  • Whole Wheat Pancakes: As a restaurant that specializes in pancakes, how could we not offer a healthy version of them? Our whole wheat pancakes come with three delicious hot cakes and are served with egg whites.
  • Jerry’s Special: Can’t decide between oatmeal, fruit, and maybe even eggs? Jerry’s Special includes all three; fresh made oatmeal topped with fresh strawberries, bananas and blueberries, served with a side of egg whites.
  • Super Sandwich: If you’re in the mood for a sandwich centered meal, try our egg whites with Canadian or turkey bacon on European wheat-berry toast! And don’t think we forgot about the fruit – this meal just brings it on the side!
  • Chip’s Healthy Omelet: Is an omelet your go to breakfast meal? Then our Chip’s Healthy Omelet (egg whites filled with any three vegetables and Canadian or turkey bacon) is an option you won’t want to miss!
