Sweet Treats For Valentine’s Day Desserts
Posted on February 13th, 2015 by Chips Restaurants
In our last blog, we covered a few Valentine’s Day dinner ideas that could be used if you are planning a low key night cooking together at home. And as promised, today, we are back to offer some of our favorite desserts that can be used to give ‘sweet’ a whole new meaning on this year’s holiday; check them out below:
Chocolate Cinnamon Pudding – Chocolate is a must have on Valentine’s Day, yes, but it doesn’t just have to be given in a heart shaped candy box. To put a twist on a traditional holiday taste, give chocolate cinnamon pudding a shot!
Heart-Cream Sandwiches – Are you and your partner total ice cream lovers? If so, we suggest making your own ice cream sandwiches with the outer layers being in the shape of a heart.
Red Velvet Cupcakes – Are you in on the red velvet fad? Should you already be planning to whip up some cupcakes with your sweetie tomorrow night, incorporate the colors of the holiday with red velvet mix.
M&M Cookies – Okay, we love chocolate chip cookies too, but if you can pick yourself up a bag of holiday themed M&Ms, you can get the same end result but with a hint of pink and red peeking through.
What desserts do you have in mind for tomorrow night? Do you have a favorite Valentine’s Day treat that isn’t on this list? If you have a recipe that you love to use, share it with us on our Facebook page!
Chip’s Family Restaurant has been a landmark in Orange, CT for many years, and since then has expanded to Fairfield, Trumbull and Wethersfield, Connecticut; did you know that we are also opening a location in Southbury this May?
