Posted on April 22nd, 2015 by Chips Restaurants
Happy Earth Day everyone! What are you doing to celebrate? In addition to going green around your home and reducing your carbon footprint by limiting how much travel you do by car, another way that you can get in the green spirit of things is by buying organic versions of food! But since health food stores have a variety of organic products and therefore, can be a bit intimidating if you aren’t sure what to shop for, we did some research and found five foods that you should always attempt to buy organically. Check them out below!
Apples
Strawberries
Grapes
Celery
Potatoes
In addition to eating organically, you can also celebrate Earth Day by feasting on your favorite “green” recipes! To do so, delish.com suggests finding meals that are comprised of leafy greens (such as salads). To check out their top recipes that include green ingredients, please click here.
So, how will you honor our planet and the environment this Earth Day? We’d love to hear your ideas, so please visit us on Facebook, Twitter or Google+ to share them with us!
