Top Foods to Serve at a Halloween Party
Posted on October 18th, 2016 by Chips Restaurants
What plans do you have to make your Halloween as spook-tacular as possible this year? Will you be visiting a haunted house? Making your way through a haunted corn maze? Hosting a scary movie marathon? Or, are you thinking of throwing a Halloween party?
If part of your plans involve our last idea – a Halloween party – we want to help your get together be as awesome as possible. That’s why today, we’re here to share some of our favorite party food ideas! Here’s what we suggest:
Mummy Hotdogs: Just like hamburgers and chicken fingers, hotdogs are one food that you can’t go wrong with – they’re a classic and a fan favorite! For Halloween, though, dazzle things up a bit and make “mummy dogs” instead. It’s easy – instead of putting your hotdogs in a bun, wrap them using strips of dough!
Pumpkin Dip: Most parties aren’t complete without some chips and dip for guests to munch on all throughout the day and night, but in honor of the season and the holiday, we think you should make something a bit more unique – pumpkin dip will do! Instead of chips, just have some apple slices ready for guests to dip into it.
Eyeball Tacos: Halloween may not fall on Taco Tuesday this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t serve tacos anyway! And not just any tacos…spooky eyeball tacos. To make the eyeballs, you’ll need meatballs, some sour cream and olives – nothing too crazy!
Halloween Pancakes: Breakfast foods taste great no matter what time of day, so don’t forget to consider some Halloween pancakes! We suggest trying the Halloween ghost pancakes discussed in a previous blog, but you can also just serve some orange and black pancakes or perhaps some pumpkin spice pancakes for added flavor!
What spooky foods and treats would you want to see at a Halloween party? If you have some other food ideas in mind, be sure to share them with us on Facebook and Twitter!
