Chocolate chips. Candy canes. Blueberries. What do they all have in common? They all make for delicious toppings on pancakes, of course! Let’s face it, who doesn’t love pancakes? Kids will be overjoyed by the the idea of chocolate chips and marshmallows. Adults may prefer the berries, but no matter the preference, these Christmas morning pancakes will have everybody saying “it’s the most wonderful time of the year!”

Snowman Pancakes

There’s no better way to celebrate the cooler weather we’ve been seeing than with pancakes in the shape of a snowman. Use chocolate chips for the eyes, nose and buttons and use a strip of bacon to represent a scarf. You can even place marshmallows under the pancake to simulate snow.

Candy Cane Pancakes

Use red and white food coloring for this recipe and drizzle warm chocolate syrup over the top of the pancakes. Then top with crushed candy canes for a delicious peppermint treat.

Christmas Tree Pancakes

You’re going to need a bunch of different sized pancakes and green food coloring for this one. Start with the largest circles at the bottom and go smaller as you stack your way to the top. Then sprinkle confectioners sugar over the tree and surround with large marshmallows.

Rudolph Pancakes

Rudolph with his nose so bright!.. You know how the story goes. Use small marshmallows and chocolate chips for the eyes, blueberries for the antlers and a raspberry for the red nose.

Once your family is finished gobbling up their festive breakfast, it’s time to open presents!

From our Chip’s Family Restaurant family to yours, we hope you have a very happy and healthy holiday!
