3 Smoothies To Pair With Your Healthy Breakfast | Chip's Family Restaurant

For whatever reason, people tend to think of breakfast as a meal they can do without. In fact, skipping breakfast can actually negatively affect your health. We have some healthy breakfast options here at Chip’s Family Restaurant, but if you’re in a rush, these smoothies will suffice:

Secret Ingredient Mango Smoothie

What You Need:


  • 1 Cup Mango
  • ¼ Haas Avocado (peeled and chopped)
  • ½ Cup Mango Sorbet
  • ¼ Cup Skim Milk
  • 2 TBSP Honey
  • 2 TSP Lime Juice
  • ¼ Cup Crushed Ice
  • 2 Mango Slices
  • 1 Lime Slice


    • Combine chopped mango, avocado, sorbet, milk, honey, lime juice, and ice. Blend ingredients until you are comfortable with the consistency.


  • Pour into glass. Garnish your delicious smoothie with the mango and lime slice for optimal flavor!

Berry-Flaxseed Smoothie

What You Need:


  • 2 TBSP Whole Flaxseeds
  • ½ Cup Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt
  • 1 Cup Mixed Berries
  • 1 Sliced Banana



  • Place flax seeds in blender ALONE and grind until they are a fine powder.
  • Add all other ingredients to the powder.
  • Blend until you are comfortable with the consistency.

Orange & Banana Breakfast Smoothie

What You Need:


  • ¾ Cup Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup Sliced Banana
  • 2 TSP Brown Sugar
  • ⅛ TSP Almond Extract
  • 2 Ice Cubes
  • Mint Sprig



  • Combine juice, banana, sugar and almond extract in the blender.
  • Add ice cubes and blend until thick and smooth.
  • Garnish with the mint!
