3 Smoothies To Pair With Your Healthy Breakfast

For whatever reason, people tend to think of breakfast as a meal they can do without. In fact, skipping breakfast can actually negatively affect your health. We have some healthy breakfast options here at Chip’s Family Restaurant, but if you’re in a rush, these smoothies will suffice:
Secret Ingredient Mango Smoothie
What You Need:
- 1 Cup Mango
- ¼ Haas Avocado (peeled and chopped)
- ½ Cup Mango Sorbet
- ¼ Cup Skim Milk
- 2 TBSP Honey
- 2 TSP Lime Juice
- ¼ Cup Crushed Ice
- 2 Mango Slices
- 1 Lime Slice
Step-by-Step:

- Combine chopped mango, avocado, sorbet, milk, honey, lime juice, and ice. Blend ingredients until you are comfortable with the consistency.
- Pour into glass. Garnish your delicious smoothie with the mango and lime slice for optimal flavor!
What You Need:
- 2 TBSP Whole Flaxseeds
- ½ Cup Orange Juice
- ½ Cup Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt
- 1 Cup Mixed Berries
- 1 Sliced Banana
Step-by-Step
- Place flax seeds in blender ALONE and grind until they are a fine powder.
- Add all other ingredients to the powder.
- Blend until you are comfortable with the consistency.
Orange & Banana Breakfast Smoothie
What You Need:
- ¾ Cup Orange Juice
- ½ Cup Sliced Banana
- 2 TSP Brown Sugar
- ⅛ TSP Almond Extract
- 2 Ice Cubes
- Mint Sprig
Step-by-Step
- Combine juice, banana, sugar and almond extract in the blender.
- Add ice cubes and blend until thick and smooth.
- Garnish with the mint!
