3 Spring-Inspired Salads To Enjoy This Season
Posted on April 27th, 2017 by Chips Restaurants
Whether you’re working on that “beach body” or simply want to start eating a bit healthier this season, eating salads for lunch can help you achieve your goals. With that said, salads don’t have to be boring or bland. Utilize fresh fruits and veggies to make your salad something you actually look forward to. See below for three spring-inspired salads we’re loving right now:
If fresh baby leaf spinach and succulent strawberries don’t get you excited for spring, we don’t know what will! Toss in a vinegar-based dressing and add in your favorite nuts (we recommend walnuts) and you’ve got yourself a lunch worth looking forward to.
Getting in the mood for seafood? Why not throw a few grilled shrimp on top of your salad? We’re loving grilled shrimp marinated in Old Bay seasoning, fresh garlic and olive oil. You can even mix in corn, cucumbers and avocado to take it to the next level.
This colorful, flavor-packed salad can be prepared in 25 minutes or less. We recommend a lemony caesar dressing to add an extra splash of spring and garnishing the salad with fresh chives and Parmesan cheese. Is your mouth watering yet?
