The Chip’s Family Story
Posted on May 10th, 2017 by Chips Restaurants
Since 1966, Chip’s Family Restaurant has been a landmark in Orange County. Serving delicious pancakes in a warm and friendly environment, we have now expanded to several locations across CT. Below are just some of the reasons why our love of family and good food has made us stand out from the rest:
Where we Came From
George Chatzopoulos or (Georgie) immigrated here from Greece back in 1987, and with a long history of restaurant experience under his belt, He took over Chip’s in 2003. He has since worked to extend the menu to feature healthier choices that include local fresh produce and whole grains.
How we Stand Out
Proud of his heritage and wanting to share it with the community, Georgie created a menu that blends Greek and Mediterranean favorites with traditional American style. Every single meal is homemade, making Chip’s a unique landmark.
BYOB and Breakfast all Day!
You read that right; we serve our perfect pancakes all day. We believe in attentive service, and a warm and friendly atmosphere so whether you’re coming for dinner or date night, feel free to bring a bottle of wine. Hospitality is everything and when you dine at Chip’s you are part of our family.
We Give back and are Grateful
We owe everything to our local families and are always looking for ways to give back. Many of our local high school kids’ first jobs were with us and the restaurant often holds several civic organization meetings.
Chip’s Family Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner to customers in Fairfield, Orange, Southbury, Trumbull, Wethersfield and Southington, Connecticut. All our meals are homemade, breakfast is served all day and we use local fresh produce. To visit one of our locations or view our menu items, please click on the tabs above.
