Summer is coming to an end but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop. What’s our version of fun? Well, as long as good food and drinks are on the menu we’re having fun! Take advantage of the wonderful food and drink events taking place in Connecticut this weekend and send summer off with a bang!
Hummock Island Oyster Tour
Did you know there’s an oyster farm in our very own backyard? Learn how oysters grow and are harvested at Hummock Island in Westport. You’ll take a boat across Sherwood Mill Pond and spend the evening on the private island. The tour wraps up with an oyster tasting and a lesson in shucking.

Odyssey: A Greek Festival 2017
Dig in to scrumptious Greek food and spend some time browsing through the marketplace, singing and dancing. You’ll learn all about Greek culture and religion at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church in Orange, CT.
Date & Time: Friday, September 1st – Sunday, September 3rd Noon – 10 PM; Monday, September 4th – Noon – 7 PM
Labor Day Clam Bake
Didn’t get to eat a whole lot of seafood this summer? Now’s your chance! Check out Brownstone Exploration and Discovery Park in Portland, CT this weekend and sink your teeth into steamed lobster, grilled chicken, steamers, clams and more!
