Why sit inside when you can spend time outside with friends and family members sinking your teeth into some of the best fall flavors our state has to offer? From hot apple pie to soft-baked pretzels, wine, beer and we can’t forget pumpkins, there’s something for everyone in our very own backyard. See below for a few of the best fall festivals taking placing in Connecticut in the upcoming weeks:

Apple Harvest Festival

Glastonbury, CT

October 13th – 15th

Like live music and food trucks? You’re in luck! Over 15,000 attended this annual event last year with 40 bands, 100 vendors, 30 food trucks/vendors, amusement ride, fun run, scavenger hunt and more.

New Pond Harvest Festival

West Redding, CT

October 14th

Come learn about how antique tools were made, learn how to cook over an open hearth and find out how to cook Kettle Corn. There will also be pumpkin decorating, candle making and apple designing.

Trackside Oktoberfest

Wilton, CT

October 14th

For the adults out there, this event is for you! Enjoy live music featuring Dylan Connor and the Epic Poets, German food and beer, open bar, silent auction, raffles, free gifts and more! Tickets are $55. Food and drinks are covered by admission price. Proceeds go to support Trackside Teen Center.
