Posted on October 18th, 2017 by Chips Restaurants
Looking to treat your kids to some spooktacular breakfast foods this month? We’ve got just what you’re looking for. As if you needed another reason to celebrate fall, the recipes below will make for the perfect before school or weekend meals leading up to Halloween. Heck, you might even get the urge to dig into them yourself!
Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal
If you find yourself pressed for time most mornings, this will become your new go-to. All you need to do is whip up a batch of instant oatmeal, mix in canned pumpkin and top it with crushed graham crackers.
Trick-Or-Treat Pancakes
There’s nothing like a stack of orange, green and purple pancakes to start the morning off on the spooky foot. You can even top them with candy eyes for an extra special treat!
Jack-O-Lantern Waffles
Break out the waffle iron, the orange food coloring and the chocolate chips for this one! Add the food coloring to the batter and add the chocolate chips for the eyes, nose and mouth.
Mummy Sausage Dogs
Does your family love breakfast sausage? You can put a seasonal twist on the favorite by wrapping them with a flaky croissant crust and using two dots of ketchup for the eyes.
Fruit Pumpkins and Banana Ghosts
Looking to avoid cooking altogether? Don’t worry, we’ve got a solution for that, too! Peel a few clementines and insert a small celery stick as a stem to make them look like pumpkins. You can also chop a few bananas in half and use chocolate chips for the eyes and the mouth and you’ve got yourself banana ghosts.
