Breakfast For Dinner Interview
Posted on March 19th, 2018 by Chips Restaurants
Thinking about holding a fundraiser for your local organization? We’ve got the perfect venue! We recently held a “Breakfast for Dinner” fundraiser for the Southington High School Indoor Track team. See what Barbara Perkowski and Karen Hoffman had to say in an interview, below:
Why did you choose to hold a fundraiser at Chips?
We decided to change things up from our traditional dinner restaurant choices and Barb suggested Chip’s as you had just recently opened. We contacted the Southington restaurant and were warmly received. The concept of breakfast for dinner was a fresh and new fundraiser.
How was your experience the day of the fundraising event?
Our experience was excellent! From the initial planning to that evening, every person we encountered from Chip’s was attentive, knowledgeable and helpful towards our team.
How much were you able to raise to support Southington High School Track?
We made over $1500 for our organization that evening.
How has the money helped your team/organization efforts?
The funds raised went directly to support our indoor track and field athletes this season. The funds assisted with coaching costs and equipment needs.
Once again we appreciate Chip’s support and can’t say enough about your restaurant and staff. Hopefully we’ll be able to plan another event in the upcoming seasons.
