Are you the type of person who can’t wait to finish dinner just so you can dive into the desserts? Maybe you’re even the type of person who would rather skip dinner altogether and just go straight for the ice cream or cake. If you fall into either of those categories, we know how you feel. And we’re going to share our favorite fall desserts with you below, because sharing is caring!
Lattice Topped Apple Pie Ala Mode
What is fall most famous for? If you’re thinking “apples” we’re on the same page. Still have dozens sitting on the counter from that day you went apple picking? Put them to good use by making a homemade apple pie ala mode. Don’t forget the vanilla ice cream.
Blueberry Pie Ala Mode
Sick of apples already? Then go for blueberries instead. We recommend using wild blueberries and making sure you get yourself a nice flaky crust. Top with ice cream, whipped cream or if you’re feeling bold, both!
Cheesecake is delicious any time of year, but you can put a very appropriate seasonal twist on the classic dessert by adding fresh or canned pumpkin. We believe the crust can make or break this dessert so we recommend going with graham cracker.
Sweet Potato Cupcakes
Believe it or not, sweet potatoes aren’t just a side dish. They also make for a superb dessert especially when you make them into cupcake form and top them with toasted marshmallow frosting.
Pumpkin Nutella Crepes
We like pancakes in all shapes and sizes, even if they’re paper thin. Mix in some pumpkin puree and stack them high for a delectable pastry cake everyone will enjoy. Don’t forget to smear Nutella in between each layer and you can even drizzle real maple syrup over the top.
