When eating breakfast at a restaurant it can be easy to avoid meat products (pancakes, anyone?!), but lunch and dinner is when things starts to get a little bit trickier. We’re here to help! We’ve compiled several of our favorite meat-free, flavor-packed menu items for our vegetarian friends! Our list is made up of salads, sandwiches, pastas and more! So, no matter your food mood, Chip’s has veggies to choose from!
1. Classic Grilled Cheese with Tomato
Keep it simple with the classic grilled cheese and tomato sandwich. Do we have to say anything more? You can already hear the crispy, buttery slices of bread crunching between your teeth. Mhmmmm… It’s just ooey-gooey cheeses and fresh tomatoes melted between two buttery crisp slices of bread. We’ll take two!
2. Veggie Burger
Is everyone at your table ordering burgers? Don’t sulk under the fear of missing out! Our veggie burger is a Mediterranean vegetable burger topped with roasted tomato chutney, provolone cheese and spinach on a brioche roll. It’s a mouthful of “woooo” without the “moooo”.
3. Roasted Beet Salad
You can’t beat it! Chip’s roasted beet salad will have your meat-loving friends asking for “a small bite.” Don’t fall for it! Nobody, we mean nobody, can take only one bite of beets. Carefully enjoy slow roasted beets with fresh apples, red onion, crumbled blue cheese and toasted pecans tossed with baby kale and white balsamic vinaigrette!
4. Brussels Sprouts and Baby Kale Caesar Salad
If Pop-eye was re-animated in 2019, he would be eating brussels and baby kale and not canned spinach. Get your muscles with brussels and kale! Whether it’s lunch or dinner, treat your body with crispy roasted brussels sprouts, Parmesan cheese, roasted tomatoes and garlic croutons tossed over a bed of baby kale with creamy Caesar dressing.
5. Penne Alla Vodka
After working out your brussels muscles, you need to re-energize. What’s the best way to do that? We typically charge a penne for our thoughts but here’s our free advice: carbs, carbs, carbs, and more carbs! Penne alla vodka is the perfect trifecta of tomato sauce, pasta, and Parmesan cheese.
